Our Beginnings

The beginnings of the directory go back to the 1950s with Where the Saints Meet. Today, the Churches of Christ in the United States, published by 21st Century Christian since 1997, is the most comprehensive directory for all branches of the churches of Christ.

This year, a group of ministries, institutions, and individuals representing a broad spectrum of our fellowship are working together to collect the most accurate congregational information since the 1980s. So much has changed since 2000, and particularly since 2018.
